Business Spotlight: Dan Munster

Dan Munster is an Eldercare Attorney in Sandy Springs, GA. His firm consults with families who are exploring the most effective way to finance long-term care costs, with a focus on medicare, medicaid and VA benefits.

Dan found his passion while working with the Senior Citizens Law Project, a unit within the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. He opened his own practice in 1999.

“The practice is low volume, with each client receiving extensive attention directly from me rather than from associates and paralegals,” Dan shared with us. His clients are typically struggling to navigate the complications which arise as a loved one ages.

“There are emotional and psychological hurdles to overcome. Legal barriers to break down. Crises to diffuse. Familial love almost invariably inspires the ability to overcome.

Dan himself has two sons, so family time (and long weekend naps) are his favorite things. He’s also a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Atlanta Bar Association.
